Negotiating with a specific insurer

The multiplier math is carrier-neutral — the playbooks aren't. Each guide covers what to expect from one carrier's claim handling, with the pain & suffering calculator attached and the offer-check counter ready.

Three rules apply to every carrier before the specifics: never settle before maximum medical improvement (early offers price a claim whose size isn't known yet), keep the negotiation in writing (documented positions are what claim systems and supervisors respond to), and grade every offer by its implied multiplier rather than how it sounds on the phone. The carrier pages below add what's distinctive — volume-carrier file scoring, fast-contact anchoring, the publicly documented evaluation software — but the spine of the negotiation is identical, and it's arithmetic.
